While we sleep, our body undergoes constant biological and chemical metabolic processes, like brain organizing and storing memories similarly hormones are secreted for breakdown of fats, carbs that we intake from food sources. Now for this purposes body wants minimum of 7-8 hours of sleep. 8 hours is best but if your life is too busy you should at least sleep for 7 hours per day.
Water: Our body is nearly 60% made of water, and out which we loose fluid inform of urine and sweat we need to make water balance by consuming atleast 2 liters(8 glasses) of water per day.
Water is a source that each living spices on earth is gifted. But if we want to loose or maintain weight, one needs to increase the level of water uptake to 3-4 liters minimum per day. Some of us find boring to continuously drink water as it dont have taste, but there are ways through which this basic necessity of body can be consumed in more interesting way.
Lemon water: Squeezing half a lemon in 500 ml of water will bring a flavor to water thereby making it tastier and lemon intern have weight loss properties which increases metabolism thereby cutting accumulated excess fat.
